Reading Russian newsletter one can be surprised how far can Russian coordinator and council members go in their deception to keep their power. The newsletter N45 was a source of humor for those who have real information about what’s going on.

One can understand the unwillingness to give up on their power after 5 years of keeping it – power is attractive and the more you have it the more difficult is to give up on it. These people think that leaders and council members can be replaced after 3 years anywhere but in Russia. Most probably they want to be there for the rest of their lives.
1st what we can notice reading Russian newsletter is that Korotaev is continuing to use a myth about Perezhogin’s group in Russia. This myth is created by his diseased imagination. Among those who do not like our council there majority is not at all connected with Perezhogin. Korotaev can not accuse someone in particular – if he starts to accuse yogis in person it will be clear that he is fighting with sahaja yogis, with the collectivity. This can harm his image so he is trying to accuse myth.
Ex-leaders, of course, always have some support from some yogis. But the majority of accusations are brought by other sahaja yogis. In the “official” collectivity lots and lots of yogis do not support council activity but they prefer not to create a conflict. Some of them decided not to attend programs. The collectivity in Russia reduced in big cities 2-3 times, in some small cities it almost disappeared.
We think its our responsibility to inform the sangha about destructive actions of Russian council. In front of our eyes they transform the living and spontaneous process of Sahaja Yoga into organization controlled on all levels. Mother warned us many times that there shouldn’t be such an organization, it should be only free union of yogis.
Viktor Pravdin, announced in the Russian newsletter, is a nickname. But under this name the group of yogis are working. We have consolidated point of view. We live in different cities and communicating with each other we come to know that there are similar problems all over Russia. We also know that many Russian sahaja yogis have the same point of view.
We agree with Sergey Perezhogin in his understanding of a leadership – “the leader is only an administrator and the collectivity needs the leader only to organize meetings, leaders can not tell other sahaja yogis what to do and what they are not allowed to do, they are not spiritual teachers”. But we do not think that the previous leaders must become leaders again.
We think that the time of unlimited power of Coordinators and Councils in Sahaja Yoga is over. We must minimize their role. They should be replaced each 3 years or maybe more often. Even of the coordinator was doing everything OK he should not have a second term. When we stop being so person-oriented in leadership the fight for power will stop and Sahaja Yoga will start to develop.
On this website we do not have any word against Sir C.P. or Shri Mataji’s daughters. We mentioned Sir C.P. only once when we were telling that Russian council member spread the information that he is Sadashiva’s incarnation and that he doesn’t believe himself in this.
We know that some opposition yogis in Russia accuse Shri Mataji’s family but these yogis are very few and its dishonest to ascribe this point of view to everybody who doesn’t like Russian council.
We hope that common sense will prevail and there will be changes in Sahaja Yoga.
We want council to be reelected each 2-3 years.
With love to all sahaja yogis.
